Spirits speak in German

Madame Grace, the spiritualist medium who, it is claimed, predicted the San Francisco earthquake, gave demonstrations of her psychic ability before a large audience last night at the Spiritualist Temple, corner of Michigan Street and Third Avenue. At times, she experienced some difficulty owing to the insistence of the spirits to communicate in German, a language of which her knowledge is limited.

What an excellent example of the difficulty of transdimensional communication - such language difficulties are rare nowadays it seems, but mediumship generally is rare anyway.
