What is our biggest challenge?

Our biggest challenge is not to go and find out the truth - we are the truth. Our biggest challenge is to eliminate the untruth. We are a combination of truth and untruth. What is the truth – that we are the divine soul, the atman, the spirit. What is the untruth – that we are the body, the mind, the intellect, the ego.

We have two things within us - the truth and the untruth. What is the problem? We ignore the truth and the untruth, and we go searching for the truth. We don’t have to find the truth anywhere, the truth is within us, but the truth is hidden by the untruth. So, what do we have to do? We have to eliminate the untruth. We have to find out what we are not, then we will find out what we are.

So, the challenge in life is not to go searching for the truth. The challenge in life is to drop the untruth. The simplest way to drop the untruth is to see the corpse of a dead person - you will realize that this is not the person. The person is gone. The person is dead. The person’s spirit has soared somewhere out. That is the truth that we know, but because of the untruth that we are the body, we are the mind, we are the ego, the truth is hidden. The truth goes within and is covered 360 degrees by the untruth.

So, do you want the truth? Don’t go searching for it, just drop the untruth. The truth will appear. The truth will remain. You are the truth. Be the truth. It’s as simple as that.
