It is a detailed and exhaustive report of a Kai Muegge seance. I cannot comment on the phenomena nor its veracity as I was not there. My concern, as always with this medium and many others is where is the PERSONAL survival evidence ?. It is hinted at, but it seems most of the night was spent in some form of experimentation.

It may be interesting indeed to have 'personalities' running a circle, but what is the point of all that supposed effort if personal evidence is not forthcoming. I would find it much more uplifting if I ( or any of the circle members ) were to get strong evidential communication with their loved ones in Spirit. Its happened in the past, so why not now?.

I do not accept the excuse about the differences between British and German physical mediumship. ( and I HAVE debated this with the medium in the past ! ). There have hardly been sufficient German physical mediums to give this any basis of fact. By all means demonstrate in public, but you need personal evidence as well, which I do not see here.

I agree Leroy. Phenomena are interesting but no substitute for evidence of survival.

I agree as well Leroy,by definition mediumship is about survival. Random personalities attending séances and sundry phenomena do not prove anything. Like you I wonder why those in Spirit would expend such energy without achieving their most important aim.

It is not as if the efforts of those involved have been going on for a short time now, I would think for some of those we talk about it is now over 10 years work. Yet there seems to be little forward movement in obtaining survival messages.

Maybe these are the wrong guides who are being contacted, or are we witnessing more proof of the minds own ability to generate phenomena in the right circumstances.

I've often found that when folk speak of mediumship it doesn't automatically involve evidence of survival. It's a word whose meaning has become altered in recent years (it seems) to include general paranormal activity.

It's evident particularly when North American forum members ask about or discuss practitioners who they see as mediums but don't necessarily demonstrate mediumship as I understand it. Guess I'm just old fashioned....
