Given the struggle we as Spiritualists have, to make people believe there IS an afterlife, much less than we can communicate with those in it: doesn't it really make your blood boil to hear about fraudulent mediums? It does mine!

Unfortunately Jim there have been far to many in the past, maybe even nowadays, many earning a decent living from it.

I must be getting more tolerant (or is it just getting old?) but I no longer get incensed that fraudsters do what they do...

On a predominantly North American website we've recently had an almighty ding-dong about claimed fraudulent mediums but I found it curious that few of the incensed contributors know anything much about (evidential) mediumship and equate psychics with mediums. Given even less knowledge or understanding out there in the big, bad world, it seems wholly inevitable that there will always be cases of fraud and/or supposed fraud.

About such matters, as with most others, I do what I can to explain the little I can about the little I know to the few prepared to listen.
