Carol Mayes Spirit Photograpphy

Very unhappy with z's removal of this but teh material I and others have put on here stands well on its own. Indeed the work and writing of evpman below is far more useful.

Z sent me a wonderful example of Carol Mayes photography which I am delighted to post below with his permission.

Thanks to Jim for posting Z's picture taken by Carol Mayers. It shows an amazing realism to the images of the people that are in this photograph, ones that would be Unmistakable if trying to identify people as friends of family members that have crossed into the Spirit World. It is good to know Spirit photography of this caliber is truly possible and agreed its sad that Carol was called so quickly from this world. I would be interested in finding out more about her and her work.

I met Carole in the 1970's and have contact prints of all the paranormal photos she had taken up to when I met her.She allowed me to borrow the negative rolls and I printed them and enlarged some for her.They are all here now https://flic.kr/s/aHsjnUw5Wm
I would be very interested in any information as to when she passed over as I have been trying to find out for some time now.In fact I was not sure if she was still our side or not.

Hopefully someone may know what happened to her. Sadly were Psychic News still operating we could probably had a very good chance maybe by publishing your story.

I have linked your web site onto the Society of Psychical Research Facebook page and asked whether anyone knows what happened to Carole.

I have more pictures in my album and the ones on my website are only about one third of all I have.In the next few weeks I will try to upload more and will keep you informed.I also have a large Psychic News article from the 1970s that I will upload as well.

It would be good if someone gets in touch with more information about her later life.When I met her she was almost blind due to Diabetes and her gift had all but left her.

I have often wondered about the energetic impact of exercising Psychic and Mediumistic abilities upon the bodies metabulism.

Maybe Mediumship should come with a health warning.
