Is this story for real? Anyone know about it?

Intriguing. I don't know whether this is a reputable publication but if it is true it is most interesting. I seem to recall that granite can make formations that look like they have been made by humans. It will be interesting to see if this develops. I have seen a report on this dated from 2001 but a cursory search of the internet hasn't revealed much more info.

Intriging indeed, but like Obi says, is it reputable, and why has there been no more about it if it was first discovered in 2001. Nine years is enough time to find out if it is a worth while project to chase for funding.

Yes I agree with both of you about that it looks a bit like one of those made up internet stories that once started keeps feeding on itself
