Yes and the second picture I have seen comments about too, on another site which is sympathetic to physical mediumship, where they pointed out that the folds in the ectoplasm look remarkably well ironed.

Einer Nielsen is interesting but the book is written from his own perspective. I do note the level of testing he went through was pretty extreme (I also know that much of that actually happened) I doubt any of the current physical mediums would agree to any of it. He also allowed photography, which only the Felix Circle currently does.

I hate to say it I think we may have another who could do genuine phenomena but would also fill in the gaps if there were some. There is a consensus amongst the serious researchers that Eusapia Palladino did this although her preference was to cheat.
