Hello everyone,

Hope I may be able to contribute after having a good look around. I think I can say I have met many who are prominent in Spiritualism in the UK and I have been involved in the movement for over 30 years. My main interest is physical mediumship. I have been fortunate to sit with a good few physical mediums and seen a lot of phenomena; so perhaps I can help in some way. I am far from convinced Spiritualism at the present time is progressing, but perhaps that is just me. We have a lot of interest out there, but not a lot of substance from the Spiritualist movement I am afraid.

Regards,

Wotan Wink

You are very welcome Wotan,

The more contributors the better on this site. We are trying to gather as much interesting and factual information as we can about Spiritualism its history philosophy, phenomena and truth.

So far we have made a good start with a lot of good threads and some unique information. The more who can add to this teh better.

Regards

Hi Wotan and Mac,

Yes although Mac knows I am one of the eternal optimists about Spiritualism I sometimes think we may only survive through forums like this and through some very dedicated Centres.

Hi Wotan, welcome!

I'm new here too, and new to Spiritualism. And I totally agree. Our little church has maybe 7 regulars and 4 hit & missers on Sundays. We received news recently that one church (and building) was taken over by another group; and another church was suffering to the point of extinction for funds. I was told another church in our own area had to close due to similar issues. Plus there are no known circles here led by Spiritualists.

Hi Epona,

Thats a sad but common story and it also explains a reasom why so few know about Spiritualism. I hope that you can keep things going,

Where are you from? There may be people on here who can help.

Thank you, I am in the US in Minnesota, so most likely a little too far.
