names

One for Jim and Lis I think.

Not something new but a questioner on another website said he'd be more persuaded if mediums gave last names as well as first ones. I didn't disagree but didn't know which mediums - in the past particularly but present too if there are any - were/are able routinely to give both first and last names of their discarnate communicators.

Can you help please guys?

Albert Best and Gordon Smith gave details well beyond first names, indeed I'd heard Albert give addresses and phone numbers at times. The conditions at the time and the mediums experience and ability must be factors in this too.

Lexie Findlater too gave deeper information as did Gordon Higginson. Not on every demonstration of course.

Today Ricky Martin appears to be in that level of ability.

Thank you for that, hiorta. Persuasive evidence indeed but do you know if these mediums also provide(d) the last names of their communicators?

A reason may well be that we are not a name - the names that identify us in this place are possibly only 'skin deep'. I do not know though.

Hi Mac its a more complex issue than it may seem to be, I will write more on it tommorrow I have to do a few things before our Sunday meeting. Suffice to say when I went with Lis to the Sunday Platforms she did on the London Circuit she was one of those who could do the names and addresses. However, she is much more interested in the emotional linkage the real feelings that join the person to their loved one's.

Lis and I are both aware that you could, if you zoned in Psychically potentially get thsi information from the individual not Spirit (or more prosaically like William Roy you could research it beforehand, much easier in the days of the internet, many people flood the social media with their intentions to see someone and what they are looking for). Now the 3 Hiorta named would be seen exempt from this but...for 18 years Barbanell would not write about Gordon Higginson because there were suspicions he used this method; they ended up friends and he believed in Gordon's mediumship ( so did I seeing him the one time when he gave Lis a message he could not have known about although he did know Lis a little) but was the research in the back pocket for a day when ther was no connection the later demonstrations are interesting to watch(whereas Albert just cancelled and rescheduled)?

Of course you will not get name and address easily unless you have decent Clair Audient abilities.

Hi Hiorta how often did you call yoir father by his full name and which of his addresses do you remember? It is a tricky area.

I did not have a close relationship with the Old Man in the early years which with hindsight, was because he had contracted TB and lived as separately as possible to avoid contagion. He did survive that deadly illness largely due to getting out of the heavy industrial atmosphere of the Glasgow of those wartime years.
He became a Grand Master in Draughts in his efforts to fill his enforced 'free time'.
I remember one address at Ladbroke Grove in London's Kensington. This was after our wee mum died young and us urchins were dispersed.

Thanks for sharing that Hiorta it is an example of the extraordinary nature of a mediums communication that would be needed to give you proof. As I read this the hair stood up on the back of my neck because I could sense his presence and more importantly the emotions surrounding this whole time.

Multiple interefernce of my time is delaying the response. The only recent positive was teh table stated turning and chasing round teh room after ony a minute and a half yesterday evening oh and a fascinating demostration of Psychometry for only 6 people on Sunday, the attendees really thought about what they brought along to test me.
