Is the Soul Within Us?

A spiritual aspirant who is on the path of God realization soon realizes that the statement “The soul is within me.” is erroneous. The soul is not within us. The soul reflects upon the mind and intellect and creates life. The soul, therefore, is not within us.

Then the question that arises is that where is the soul? The soul is like air. The soul is everywhere. The soul is inside us, outside us, on top of us, and below us. The soul is consciousness. The soul is Chit. It is absolutely everywhere. Unfortunately, it is invisible and intangible and therefore we don’t see it. Because we believe that the soul has to be inside us for us to have life inside us, we choose to say that we have a soul inside us. It’s just like an electric bulb that is not powered by electricity. For the bulb to come alight and to give light, electricity should pass through it. The soul energy passes through us to give us life. It is just the illuminator. It is just the energy and it is not a part of us. It energizes us with Prana, with life. Therefore, to that spiritual aspirant who is marching towards God realization, we are not the soul. The soul is everywhere. The soul is God.

One view Air kichwa from a different viewpoint to Modern Spiritualism may be may not be correct.

I expect AiR's ideas are fine for himself and may  also be fine  - as is suggested in the first sentence - for (quote) "A spiritual aspirant who is on the path of God realization....."

For simpler souls like myself the simple ideas found underpinning Modern Spiritualism, some from teacher and guides such as 'Silver Birch', may appeal more to our reason...
