Not for resuscitation? Empty Not for resuscitation?

An article in today's Guardian on this matter - of medical policy not to resuscitate predetermined categories of patient, has aroused hostile responses.
A thorny one from many perspectives, but it really should be debated and addressed. There seems to be a general reluctance to open any subject that is directly discussing death, although the deliberate slaughter of countless Iraqi people held no such considerations. Strange.
