TOM HARRISON MATERIALIZES

Difficult Story from the Felix Group, at the Acacia Centre with Robin Foy, Ann Harrison etc where Tom Harrison materialised, presumably in the dark but they then went on to a display of ectoplasm photographed in red light. In honesty I am unsure about any of this work and the Felix group but we will see as time unfolds. If they can practice with ectoplasm in the light then eventually we should soon see valid pictures of people materialising and whole seances in red light.

It's hard to have any confidence in what they're claiming....

But ectoplasm and red or even white light? Aren't they re-inventing the wheel?

Like you I see very little different Mac, I wonder whether they are going for a basic improvement like making it square once again.

A certain member of this Felix group claimed not-so-long-ago that the NSSF was going to use 'new energy' techniques for the production of physical phenomena under test conditions ....

I believed in the group's motives and their sincerity and followed events with enthusiasm. The outcome is now well known to us older folk.

Call me a Doubting Thomas, but once bitten, forever shy.

Yes I remember that they were in the forefront of that "supposed" area of development. I understand a few peopl e may have left the group and a dew more could be disillusioned. However, they are fast becoming the darlings of "modern physical mediumship" whatever that maybe and however far behind the mediumship of the few truly brilliant physical mediums in the past.

It's sad that their threshold of 'success' in claimed physical mediumship is so low. Some twenty odd years back I was told off roundly by certain members of the NAS for having the temerity to suggest that some members may have been more interested in physical phenomena than they were in the underlying message of survival.

I suspect things may not have changed all that much....

It does make you wonder what the motivation is for these people, as it would take a lot more time, dedication and effort to become a competent physical medium than it would be to become a competent mental medium. It's not as if there's a glut of fantastic mental mediums out there making it hard for a competent mental medium to get a foot in the door...

Isn't the entire raison d'etre of ALL Mediumship to try to point to Life surviving physical death?
PM seems to have become like a football league with competing groups vying with the others to attract the more publicity and attention. It walks its separate path in achieving....what, exactly?

And I was considering doing Physical and Trance, A Experimental Seance Special at the Eastbourne Centre in September of this year. Tutors include Kai Muegge of FEG, Bill Meadows, Glyn Edwards, Scott Milligan, Eileen Davies and Terry Tasker, must admit it did look an interesting course, until I was informed of the prices! The only medium I am familiar with is Glyn Edwards, seen him some years back and his survival evidence was striking. According to his website he is a protégée of Gordon Higginson, wasn't aware Mr Edwards was a physical medium though.

Glyn Edwards was a promoter of Chay Backshall who was discussed on here recently.

None of the above tutors can produce direct voice or full form materialisation so I suggest yo save your money unless you are interested in physical phenomena which does not produce survival evidence.

.......it's not hard to get a foot in the door - simply produce indisputable evidence of survival!

'Tom Harrison materialises' makes a good headline but where is the evidence?

I read that thread recently and I am amazed why some reputable mediums can be easy drawn in by this. Surely, they must be aware if the quality of phenomena is not there, and yet they promote them. It amazes me to be honest. I don't intend doing the course after reading some threads here.

I think so myself Is there any good physical mediums (materialization or direct voice) that you might recommend zerdini.

Young Milligan is manufacturor and purveyor [via his wonderful website] of seance trumpets and related PM paraphernalia. Nice to see the old crafts kept alive. You can't limit Spirit and I firmly believe in PM. I also know for a fact and can provide the proof to order, given fair opporrtunity, that some of what passes for PM these days is low grade conjuring coupled with charlatanry in cruel alliance and all designed to fleece sincere if gullible 'punters' [ that being a PM dark showman's term for his audience NOT mine]. My night vision goggles and I are open to any and all invitations to be proven wrong.

I have a friend who attended a Milligan seance over a year ago and he didn't now what to make of it, it was held in complete darkness and he said too much happened at once and it was hard to take it all in, he left feeling very confused. He said it was hard to tell if it was fraud, he said maybe he isn't fully developed yet, if so he shouldn't be working in public yet. I was sent a copy of Milligans CD, two of his guides sound identical. I've also seen his website, very commerical looking must admit. He's getting promoted alot by SNU mediums.

I have asked for a new seance trumpet for my birthday so good luck to the lad. Just hope it doesn't all end in [Noah' Ark] floods of tears.
