But what do we do with the ghost after we've caught it?

Good question Jim, I suppose that depends upon what type of ghost it is and what belief it follows. You could ask it very nicely to go to teh Light alternatively if it is a ghost comprising purely remnant energy it will just ignore you and do its own thing again, and again, and again etc.

If it's the latter category isn't it more the case that there isn't a life form to have any awareness?

Hence it couldn't ignore, or indeed react, to the presence of a ghostbuster....

I don't think I've ever read a truly definitive, authoritative explanation of the many situations where this all-embracing term 'ghost' is used. Any takers?

Are malevolent ones, ghosts, though, Jim? This is the grey area between ghosts and souls/spirits where much confusion can arise...

Am I the only one who finds the term ghost hunting distasteful? It smacks of fox hunting or bear baiting or other forms of pursuit for reasons of blood lust at worst, or entertainment at best. I like to think that a serious attempt to witness post-mortem apparitions has nothing in common with those.

I don't find it distasteful so much as daft..... It is entertainment as far as I see it because I'm a serious Spiritualist.

post-mortem apparitions? You mean physical mediumship?
