Keith Milton Rhinehart materialization vidoes

Hello. I am new to the forum, I post on Michael Prescott's blog and the Skeptiko forum but I really am only interested in discussing mediumship, evp and afterlife evidence for survival. I am not interested in psi on a micro level although I do recognize that the implications suggest that consciousness can be nonlocal. I have been a stalker on this forum for quite some time but feel it is time to contribute. I like pragmatic approach that people take on this forum as what I would consider a community of skeptical believers (as I would label myself) but you can correct me on that if I am off base.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knew or where to go to find the videos of the experiments that Keith Milton Rhinehart conducted with the researchers in Japan that was caught on video. Do these videos still exist somewhere? I cannot believe something so "earth shattering" has never been circulated in the general public. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Welcome bermuda_grass. The videos still exist as far as I know and at one time featured in a documentary for Japanese television. I do know that the medium Colin Fry witnessed the video when he visited Japan. You could contact the association Rhinehart was associated with, the Aquarian Foundation based in Seattle. But not sure if they still exist.

I believe they still exist Mark but not sure they have the material. Its a pretty strange and cult like movement that has not been helpful to past seekers.

lol a bit going on in other threads is exercising my talents for diplomacy which are pretty limited at the moment. Realised this was a thread that should have been read, maybe instead.

I was a member of the Aquarian foundation for about a year in Hollywood, CA.  Long after Rev. Rhinehart died.  The church told me after numerous raids to Keith Milton Rhinehart's home and him living on the run the last few years of his life from the "powers that be"  They never named who that was--but they said his copy of the tapes in Japan were confiscated among many other things of significance.

The church is HIGHLY protective of their leader and whatever info. they have and know. If you didn't join before KMR's death you really were not a member.  They keep SO much hidden. They're paranoid.  They have thousands of tapes they won't release of trancemediumship. You can't hear them-(the very few you CAN hear) unless you become a member and I listened to the same stuff almost every 2 months.  But maybe they have reason to be paranoid. who knows?  Still it's NOT an open welcoming religion and I wish they'd just hang it up and let it die with them.  Because they pretend anybody is welcome, but only those that really saw and attended KMR's services when he was alive have any clue what their teachings were about.  In my perspective--they really don't care about getting their message out their or prostelizing.  After 15 years they still have only translated from tape to book--2 booklets from thousands of supposed recordings.  I don't think anybody will ever find out (unless there is divine intervention) what went on in those physical trance medium sessions.  I will say one last thing, the old members did share that KMR had plastic surgery and needed it for the scars from the apports coming through his body. I was told he was definitely damaged from it.  He died of cancer I was also told. That's all I remember.

Thanks very much for sharing that story, its very difficult to get the full details of what occurred with KMR. Those Japanese apes would be great to see. I would also like to know more of his session with Alec Harris. It was a strange ending to his career.
