Just how petty and petulent can the SNU NEC committee get. They are like spoilt children unable to take any criticism or comment that does not agree with their narrow minded version of events and the world.
Open discusion is banned and edicts from on high are infallible, even when wrong headed and damaging to themselves.
Self harm is a symptom of a deep underlying problem with the psyche of the Union leadership. It is time for the members to excise the rotton core of the problem, and start being active participents, not passive onlookers, in their Union.

Well it's not quite the Rapture that was promised for May 21, but it is a sensible resolution of the issue, and why it took so long is a mystery:

Thank you for your comment Wes.
I am glad to see the Union has woken up to the fact it does not exist in a bubble, and has finally made a move to resolve this particular issue.
I wonder if this new found sense of moral responsibilty will extend to righting other wrongs?

A PR disaster of monumental proportions!

It will be interesting to see if the person who authorised the banning of the book from sale at the AFC still retains their job on the NEC after the AGM in July.

plus ça change........................!

Agreed Hiorta why should the top line bosses of a Spiritualist Organisation be ethical....any way only 3 of them are ever elected the President and the 2 vice Presidents in alternate years

Annabele and Seaman are up this year and the President "chooses" the NEC thats democracy SNU style
